Molly Felth

“Should we Wait for Tokyo”

I  can’t think of it more than I can think of

the faint stripes on the kitten

we almost adopted.

When I was on you, I was insane

For your chest hair

Was shaped like a stingray.

Bullhorns blast

The shipyard wakes

the neighborhood .

Someone seems to have erected a

quarry outside your window but

There’s nothing about you I don’t

Love, I cannot be quieted

Wall Street occupied

me. It was a mutual venture

Of this I am certain. I say to her here:

“You are the most worldly

Person you know. You are 23.

You will never be this happy again and you know it.”
