Here’s the plan. You’re here now – the new H_NGM_N blog - & we’re going to attempt to update this here blog on an almost daily basis.

How?

We’ll start with a smattering of H_NGM_N news, rotating blogs from the growing editorial staff here at HHQ, capsule reviews of chapbooks, & a healthy roster of guest bloggers who’ve been given free reign to talk about pretty much anything.

Now, I’d like to introduce my band:

Matt Dube (Fiction Editor) is the dude who’s been around H_NGM_N the longest, a guy I knew before I even met him. In fact, & I think we’re right about this, the first job I ever got hired for was vacant because he had gotten fired. Or something.

Gina Myers (Reviews Editor) doesn’t need me at all. I think she writes about 5000 words a week for various magazines, blogs & journals. I need her, however, & between her ink & Dube’s long hair we get to keep our cred with the cool kids.

Clay Matthews (Associate Editor) is the brother I never had, the dude who just pulled up to H_NGM_N one day in his pick up truck, fixed the fridge for me, cracked open some beers & moved in.

Robert Krut (Associate Editor) heads up our West Coast office from an undisclosed beach. The nicest guy in poetry, Bob’s a workhorse with a shiny coat.

Darcie Dennigan (Associate Editor) has been around H_NGM_N for years & while I’ll never forget her COMBATIVE nature, she’s got enthusiasm to burn.

Also, kicking around there in the back is our own Webmaster Flash, Eric Appleby. I’ve said it before & I’ll keep saying it, RSS-feed style, that without Eric, H_NGM_N would still be dittoed & side-stapled. Or dead.
